You can only find true harvest freshness here!
But what does that actually mean?
The harvest-fresh organic coconuts are harvested by hand particularly early and gently—without the use of trained harvesting monkeys.
Within just 72 hours, the coconuts are processed so that
all the valuable nutrients as well as the fresh, exotic
aroma are preserved. Only rapid processing ensures a product of true premium quality, as this allows us to rule out contamination and enzymatic changes in the flesh caused by storing the nut for too long (in some cases, other products are left on the side of the road for weeks or even months).
To ultimately turn the coconut into our organic virgin coconut oil, the
fruit is opened in the Philippines, peeled by hand, chopped into pieces, and dried using a gentle process. After drying, the flesh is pressed immediately at
a maximum of 38 °C. The temperature is crucial for the quality of the oil, as this is the only way to ensure that the
valuable nutrients of the coconut are actually
preserved. Throughout the entire process, there’s one thing that definitely doesn’t end up in the bottle: chemicals. Unlike in industrial coconut oil pressing, the oil produced using our organic method is
neither refined, bleached, nor deodorized.
The coconut oil is now transported to Germany in food-grade containers specially manufactured for food products. The coconut products are loaded at the production site only at night to ensure that these sensitive products are not exposed to intense light or high temperatures. Once it arrives here in Montabaur, the coconut oil is bottled in
jars with PVC-free lids and shipped to you.
